G. Carolyn Mitchell is CEO, President and founder of Magnet Portfolio Services, Inc.  Her broad based experience in the real estate and mortgage banking industries covers over 30 years and covers the industry spectrum from origination through securitization.  Her employment history includes senior positions at Freddie Mac, Lomas and Nettleton and other lending institutions.

Ms. Mitchell has been a keynote speaker for many important organizations and has been an instructor to New York University.  In addition, she has presented the course "Introduction to Mortgage Banking" at the New York State Banking Department and the Center for Financial Studies, located in Fairfield, CT.

Ms. Mitchell attended California State University and majored in business. Currently, Ms. Mitchell is a Registered New York State Mortgage Broker.  She is a member and has been associated with Mortgage Bankers Association of America, the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, the New York State Mortgage Broker's Association, the Community Bankers Mortgage Forum and the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women.
